Surrender, Acceptance and Gratitude

Updated: Jan 14, 2023

The first step in the surrender process was to let go of going to the Wisdom course with Dispenza. We were both disappointed at having to withdraw from the course. The next step was surrendering the automatic expectation of mobility. Then came the need for and acknowledging the major dependence on another. It is a lesson in humility and gratitude to have a super caring and attentive caregiver partner. It was a new dance with great steps to increased intimacy.

The acceptance of reality takes many forms. Managing your recovery/health can take many forms. We chose to play with the universe and surprise the allopathic medical model. From setting an intention for no pain following surgery to reducing the recovery time, we played with what was possible. By the end of February there had still been no pain or discomfort and the crutches and boot were in the past. It had been a journey of alternatives to accepting the limitations. Homeopathic medication, botanical oils, PEMF machine, bio mat, rest, care, meditation all combined to reduce the normal healing times by 40%. Did we need to know what specifically produced the great results? No.
