Aboard the Hunu we recognize there are many reasons why you might want to rent a boat for just an overnight getaway. In the Puget Sound area, it is not always easy to find a short term Crewed overnight Boat Charter San Juan Islands.

Having a crewed boat for an overnight rental has a number of advantages. Whatever your reasons for wanting a short term boat rental they likely don’t include having to familiarize yourself with the boat, being responsible for not damaging it, and spending time docking and tidying up at the conclusion of your day rental. Your packing and preparation will be greatly simplified when coming aboard a well-equipped vessel.
Mostly, people want variations on a couple of different scenarios. You have an occasion of some sort that you wish to celebrate or honor. There is a desire to be in nature and connect with the outdoors in your preferred fashion. This includes getaways, escapes and time to recharge yourself.

A Crewed Boat Charter San Juan Islands, we believe, simplifies and streamlines your role as organizer and doer while it reduces the potential for stress. If your goal is to celebrate, relax, and have an enjoyable experience as possible, that is what we facilitate. Perhaps this is where we insert one of our most engaging coaching questions, “How Great Can You Stand It?”

As part of our normal preparation for an overnight cruise, you will have given us a good idea of what is motivating you to visit. After arranging for where the boat will meet you, we will proceed from there based on your preferences and time constraints.

One of the primary benefits we offer is flexibility. You might have wanted a cruise to see Port Townsend and Marrowstone Island with a visit ashore to Fort Flagler. Once underway and in the moment you decide to kayak around Hadlock harbor and end up having a delicious meal at a restaurant we recommend and frequent ourselves. You might have said you wanted to visit Friday Harbor and in the event choose a quiet anchorage swinging on the hook away from people. We are happy to accommodate these changes and possibilities provided they don’t conflict with previously made commitments.

Privacy – You will have as much private or alone time as you wish. Not only will you have your own cabin with a queen bed and private bath but there are multiple decks and private spaces where you can have as much time to yourself as you wish.

Meals – We provide non-alcoholic beverages and a light snack. We also provide dinner during your overnight rental unless you prefer to be shuttled in our dinghy to a restaurant on shore (when available). We provide a light breakfast prior to checkout. You are welcome to contact us to discuss additional requests you might have. You are also welcome to bring food and refreshments of your choice with you.

Concerning the Weather - The best laid plans are frequently changed by the endless localized weather conditions found throughout the Puget Sound area. It is not surprising to find rain or fog in one harbor while a few miles away there is sunshine. If you have spent time in and around the Puget Sound on a boat you already know this. Our suggestion to guests, repeats what most outdoor clothing advice is for the Pacific NW -bring layers, and expect change. In the boating world it is safe to add “expect moisture”

Generally speaking we watch the weather patterns for your Crewed Overnight Boat Charter in the San Juan Islands and if the conditions are not conducive to your desired plans, we make adaptions. Such is the nature of boating, not just in the Puget Sound but most anywhere you deal with large bodies of water.
